I think the quote means that be very careful what you wish for because your wish can become true. Some how it will effect you in a negative or positive way.
It's more of a be more clear with your wish like for example I want a million buck. It might also have to do with saying the wrong like I wish you we're gone the next day their gone its more like be more clear.
I think this quote means that if you wish for something, think on the good and the bad things this wish is gonna give you back, a good wish for you may change other people's lives or vice versa
It like when you wish someone was die and you just say that because you were mad at them but in reality you don’t mean it......or you wish life was better without a specific race then you fall in love with a girl/boy that different skin color than you.... so what I think wishing is not good make you regretted after or will haunt you
it means that not all wishes can come truth, some wishes you wish can come truth and later not want it no more
